We then drove northwards into Spain spending one night near Coruna before arriving in Santander for an afternoon sailing to Plymouth. This journey took longer than expected so I only saw one ex-London trolleybus in the distance in Coruna. The ferry had been built for the shorter crossings to France so my lasting recollection is of queues at mealtimes.
